I saw the promo videos on the developers website and was very eager to get this app -- only once I did I was disappointed with its limited content.
I got the full version thinking what a time saver.
Nope -- not unless I want to hear an inaccurate weather forecast or only a handful of other limited content.
This app is limited to only a few select sources, so you cant listen to your email unless you use Gmail (I dont), their weather provider (weatherwund) which got my location right but the forecast is way off.
It does read Facebook, twitter and RSS feeds well, but if you dont limit each it goes on for freekin ever.
The only useful feature is reading out my calendar.
I was hoping to add my various email accounts, news and information apps, even text messages -- but I guess even plain text is beyond this apps abilities.
The voices are exceptionally crisp and clear. Maybe the developer spent all their time on the voicing -- because it is by far the clearest computer generated voice I have ever heard.
Too bad it just doesnt have much to say.
